95% of the bourbon worldwide is distilled right here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Cooper is a term for a person who constructs and chars the oak barrels in which bourbon is specifically stored and aged. Scattered throughout Kentucky are dozens of distilleries open for tours and tastings. Travel the Kentucky Bourbon Trail or visit the annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival and learn how bourbon is cooked, fermented, distilled and aged.

Barren River Lake is a Fisherman’s Paradise with over 10,000 acres of water. Catch of the day can include Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Blue Catfish, Black crappie and small mouth bass. We can’t wait to hear your explorations.
